Parents and students,
Granite District has prepared a website with links to the digital websites students will use during this time of digital and distance learning. https://sites.google.com/granitesd.org/granitedistancelearning/home When you go to this website, you will see three links under K-6: Google Classroom, Go Math, and Wonders. I plan to use all three of these websites for online learning, as well as Utah Compose. Students should know how to access these websites (except for Wonders), because we have used them throughout the year on Chromebooks. I also have instructions on our class website under the students tab on how to access all the websites. Please email me if you are having trouble accessing any of the websites. I will be posting daily and weekly assignments on Google Classroom. Please start looking there for lessons, instructions, and assignments beginning March 18th. -Mrs. Powell Congratulations to our last group of students who passed off their multiplication facts! We reached our goal of every student mastering their facts by December. Knowing your multiplication facts will be a useful skill both at school and in life. I am proud of each student who worked hard over the past few months to become a true Knight of the Multiplication Table!
We had another 7 students in both classes become Knights of the Multiplication Table today! They excitedly kneeled as our special guest knighted them, then they claimed their certificate and prize. Keep working hard to memorize all your facts! Remember our class goal to have every student knighted by December.
Congratulations to our first group of students who have passed off all their multiplication facts! Today they were knighted and became true Knights of the Multiplication Table. They also received a certificate acknowledging their great accomplishment, and a fun treat. We are excited to see more students pass off their facts over the next few weeks. Keep up the great work!
